Bus Route Descriptions
The University at Albany provides students and employees the following free bus services when they show a valid SUNYCard. Note that bus services are reduced when classes are not in session.
(NEW) Patroon Creek Shuttle -Saturday Only Shuttle Service for Saturday
U Albany Western Ave. Shuttle / CDTA Route 11 East This service is provided by CDTA Route 11 buses and U Albany white and purple buses, with major stops along Western Avenue between the Uptown Campus starting at the SEFCU Arena and Science Library bus stops, Alumni Quad and the Downtown Campus at Draper Hall.
Grocery Shuttle - THURSDAYS ONLY This service is provided by the U Albany white and purple buses between the uptown campus, Stuyvesant Plaza and Towne Center Plaza (Price Chopper Grocery store).
East Campus Shuttle--Washington Ave- Only This service will begin at Collins Circle and travel down Washington Ave and with various stops and continue to East Campus with no bus transfer.In addition students will have free access to CDTA Route 10 & 12.
Uptown Campus Apartment Shuttle This service is provided by the U Albany white and purple buses on the Uptown Campus. This service is intended for resident students living in the apartments at Freedom Quad and Empire Commons which are located furthest from the Science Library & Collins Circle bus stops.
(NEW)Patroon Creek Shuttle-Weekday Service-Monday to Friday This service is provided by the U Albany white and purple buses on the Uptown Campus. This service is intended for resident students living in the apartments at Freedom Quad and Empire Commons access to Patroon Creek
CDTA’s Shuttlebug service between Crossgates Mall and Crossgates Commons may also be used when a valid SUNYCard is presented.
